Proceeding of fourth international Jean Françaix music competition

On 5 May, the Piano competition brought together 21 candidates from differnt countries: France (2), Albany(1), Argentina (1), Australia (1), Belgium (1), Bulgary (1), South Korea(1), Spain (1), Great Britain (1), Italiy (2), Japan (5), Malaysia (2), Romania (1), Yugoslavia (1).
The jury was composed of :
- Mrs Colette Zerah, chairman.
- MrAquiles Delle Vigne, pianist.
- Mrs Claude Françaix, composer's daughter.
- Mr Gilles Berard, pianist.
- Mrs Mamiko Suda, pianist.
- Mr Jean Pierre Lore, conductor.
- Mr Frank Wibaut, pianist.

On 6 May, the cello Competition brought together 9 cellists : France (7), Georgia (1) and Japan (1).
